Purpose Of The Role
- This role supports senior management in driving holistic and integrated risk management, with a primary focus on credit-related stress testing, risk appetite review and calibration, and credit concentration risk management.
- The role also works closely with Head Office to support independent model validation, including Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) models for credit ratings and Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
What You Will Be Doing
- Work closely with Head Office, risk teams, and business units to conduct in-depth reviews of the Bank’s risk appetite metrics and credit concentration limits.
- Participate in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) bank-wide credit stress testing and consolidate assessments from various risk teams.
- Conduct credit stress testing in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements (e.g. HKMA Supervisor-driven Stress Testing).
- Contribute to the Bank’s climate risk initiatives, including Climate Risk Stress Testing.
- Collaborate with Head Office on regular independent model validation exercises, including IRB models for credit ratings and ECL.
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Quantitative disciplines, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Experiences in SQL and Python to support data aggregation, analysis, and reporting is an advantage.
- Team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English and Cantonese.
