About Our Client
Our client is a Leading EU Sourcing office with decades of history and sustainable business growth. They are now looking for a Sourcing Manager focusing on Hardgoods to join their expanding team.
Job Description
- Manage key supplier accounts and sourcing categories
- Partner with Product teams to initiate new developments for catalogue launches
- Lead line reviews, supplier risk assessments, and competitive analysis
- Structure RFQs and product proposals for evaluation
- Resolve quality issues and customer claims with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive category planning, budgeting, and cost‑saving initiatives
- Identify direct factories and reduce reliance on traders/importers
- Lead benchmarking activities, global sourcing comparisons, and competitor analysis
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree holder
- 8+ years of Hardgoods sourcing experience in Sourcing offices
- Proven track record managing large, international supplier bases
- Strong negotiation, cost modeling, and category management skills
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Product, Quality, and Operations teams
- People leadership experience with a structured approach to performance management
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Fluent in Cantonese, Manadarin, English
