Okay Work-Life, Fast-Paced Startup
Pros: I like the team culture in the Osaka office; everyone's pretty collaborative. As a Marketing Specialist, I appreciate that they try to offer some flexibility, which helps with personal stuff sometimes.
Cons: The work-life balance isn't always there, especially during big campaign pushes in the e-commerce space. You might find yourself working longer hours, even if it's not the norm.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for work hours during peak times. Burnout is real in the meal delivery industry, so supporting your teams better is key.

Flexibility is Decent for Hybrid Roles
Pros: As a Marketing Specialist, I appreciated the hybrid work model here. We got 2-3 days WFH, which helps with personal appointments. It's a decent setup for the food delivery industry, especially for non-operations roles.
Cons: True remote work isn't an option, even if your role could support it. Sometimes the Osaka office attendance felt arbitrary, honestly. There's not much room to adjust daily hours for individual needs beyond those WFH days.
Advice to Management: Consider offering fully remote options for roles that can effectively perform outside the office. Review policies on required in-office days to ensure they genuinely support collaboration rather than just being a default.

Good for Learning, Hard for Long-Term Growth
Pros: I've learned a lot about the meal delivery service industry and how a startup operates. As a Product Manager in Osaka, I got hands-on experience quickly which was great. The team is usually pretty collaborative.
Cons: Career progression is really unclear. There aren't many defined steps for moving up, and promotion opportunities feel limited. You might hit a ceiling pretty fast if you're looking for significant career advancement.
Advice to Management: Develop clearer career paths and offer more training for employees looking to grow within the food tech space. It would really help retain talent.
