Leadership is okay, but needs work.
I worked as a Software Engineer for a couple of years. The team was solid, but management really needs to step up their game.
The team culture among peers in the Santiago office is pretty good; we really supported each other. The hybrid model definitely helps with work-life balance for software development roles. They do offer some opportunities for training if you push for it.
Leadership often feels pretty out of touch with what's happening on the ground for us Software Engineers. There's a lack of clear vision or communication from the top, which makes things tough in an IT consulting environment. Decisions often come down without much explanation, which can be frustrating.
Try to be more present and transparent with your teams, especially when making big project or company-wide decisions. Better communication would go a long way in an IT consulting firm.
