Solid Place for a Semiconductor Career, Good Learning
A solid semiconductor company with good stability and learning opportunities, though career progression can be slow.
Micron Technology is a stable place in semiconductor manufacturing. As a Process Engineer, I've had good learning opportunities and work with smart, collaborative colleagues in Boise. Work-life balance is generally good, not a constant grind.
Things can feel slow, especially with internal approvals, which can be frustrating. Career advancement and promotions don't always happen quickly. Occasional busy periods are expected, but overall it's manageable.
Focus on streamlining internal approval processes to speed up project execution and consider clearer pathways for career advancement and promotions for experienced engineers.
