Project OverviewYou will be responsible for managing and optimizing databases for a Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) within the Digital Business Integration industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data reliability, security, availability, and compliance in an enterprise and regulated environment. The position also requires strong operational readiness to support a 24/7 healthcare environment where system availability and data accuracy are highly critical for hospital operations.
Job Description- Manage, monitor, and optimize databases to ensure system performance and availability.
- Perform database performance tuning and capacity planning to support system growth.
- Execute and maintain backup and restore processes, ensuring disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage database replication and high availability environments.
- Ensure data security through proper implementation of access control, data protection, and audit logs.
- Respond to database-related incidents in a timely manner and conduct root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support critical hospital operational systems that run 24/7, ensuring minimal downtime and fast incident resolution.
- Collaborate with hospital operational teams and vendors to support integrations related to BPJS, medical records, pharmacy systems, and other hospital operational modules.
- Provide on-call support when required to ensure database stability and operational continuity.
Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements- Years of Experience: 3–5 years as a Database Administrator or related role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields with minimum GPA is 3.5 / 4.0
- Proficient in one or more of the following database systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
- Hands-on experience in: Database performance tuning. Backup, restore, and disaster recovery. Database replication and high availability setup. Managing mission-critical databases with high uptime requirements
- Strong understanding of: Data security and access control, audit logging and compliance requirements
Additional Experience- Hands-on experience working in hospital environments or Hospital Information Systems (SIRS/SIMRS) is mandatory.
- Experienced in supporting healthcare-related integrations such as BPJS, electronic medical records (EMR), pharmacy systems, and hospital operational workflows.
- Experience supporting healthcare systems or large-scale enterprise environments is a strong plus.

- Responsive in handling incidents and able to work well under pressure.
- Quick to understand business needs and strategic objectives.
- Willing to provide full operational commitment in a healthcare environment with 24/7 operational demands.
- Able to handle on-call responsibilities and urgent operational issues outside regular working hours when needed.
Work Arrangement- Employment Type: Full-time, 3-month probation period, permanent employment (PKWTT) after probation
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday (07.30 – 16.00) and Saturday twice a month (07.30 – 13.30)
