Job Description
We are seeking an independent and hands-on HR Manager to lead the setup and management of HR operations in Indonesia for a large multinational F&B client. This role will act as a strategic partner to our client's Singapore HQ, ensuring compliance with Indonesian labor laws while supporting business expansion in the F&B industry.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Indonesian employment laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.Manage work passes (KITAS), immigration matters, and expatriate employment compliance.Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and governance frameworks.Lead statutory registrations, reporting, and compliance matters, including BPJS, JKP/JHT/JP, PPh 21, and other government-related requirements.Liaise with government agencies, regulatory authorities, external consultants, and legal advisors on employment and compliance matters.Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk management initiatives.Set up and maintain HR administration processes, employee records, and HR systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.Advise management and operational teams on employment regulations, disciplinary matters, employee relations cases, and HR best practices.Partner closely with the HR Operations team to ensure HR processes are aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.Support organizational growth by monitoring regulatory changes and implementing necessary compliance measures.
Qualifications
Must have 7 years HR experience (must include F&B / retail / multi-outlet)Must have experience in setting up HR from scratchStrong knowledge of Indonesian labor law (UU Ketenagakerjaan)Able to work independently without local HR teamFluent in English (mandatory)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsEx-HRBP or standalone HR in startup / expansion phaseExperience handling multi-entity or regional reportingComfortable working with HQ in Singapore
