Role: Business Development Executive

Client Location: Singapore

Working Days/Hours: Monday–Friday/9:00am – 6:00pm SGT

Contract Type: Full-Time Contract

Contract Term: 12 months, Renewable

Monthly Salary: USD 850-1250 (excluding commission)


Job Overview

One of our clients is looking for a high-velocity Business Development Executive to join an early-stage AI-powered business platform operating at the intersection of sales enablement and digital transformation. The company is building a gamified, agentic AI system designed to help founders, solopreneurs, and sales professionals eliminate low-value tasks and focus on high-impact revenue generation.

This is a ground-floor commercial role where you will own the full sales cycle, help shape go-to-market strategy, and directly influence product direction through real-time market feedback. You will be one of the first commercial hires, working closely with the founding team to build momentum across SME and sales communities in Singapore and Indonesia.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Generation & Sales Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Build and manage a pipeline of SME clients, sales professionals, and early platform users
  • Drive consistent conversion of leads into active, paying customers
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and acquisition targets

Strategic Business Development

  • Identify and penetrate new market segments across Singapore and Indonesia
  • Build relationships within SME ecosystems, founder communities, and sales networks
  • Develop outreach strategies to support early-stage brand and user growth

Market Feedback & Product Input

  • Collect structured feedback from prospects and customers
  • Relay key market pain points and insights to the product and leadership team
  • Contribute to positioning, messaging, and commercial strategy refinement

Platform Execution & Advocacy

  • Act as a power user and ambassador of the internal platform
  • Demonstrate product value to prospects using real workflows and use cases
  • Track and report customer acquisition activity and lifecycle insights


Must-Haves

  • 1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
  • Strong interest in AI, SaaS, fintech, or digital platforms
  • Self-starter mindset with strong ownership of outcomes
  • Familiarity with Singapore or Indonesia market dynamics


Great-to-Have

  • Experience in SaaS, fintech, or platform-based sales environments
  • Exposure to SME or high-volume outbound sales
  • Account management or client retention experience
  • Consultative or solution-based selling background
