Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Draftsperson to join our team in Jakarta/Gresik, Indonesia. This is a hands-on role responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 3D models, assemblies, and drawings for PROK conveyor products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations. This drafter will also support BOM management and product documentation within the ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for PROK products.
- Produce accurate sales and manufacturing drawings in line with company and industry standards.
- Maintain BOMs and product documentation within the ERP system.
- Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and safety principles.
- Support continuous improvement, standardization, and design-for-manufacture initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, operations, and customers to deliver effective design solutions.
- Support manufacturing and project teams with technical documentation and design queries.
- Promote a safe, quality-focused, and collaborative work environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be :
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years experience creating and managing 3D models and assemblies in a professional CAD environment. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Experience producing engineering drawings (detail, assembly, and sales drawings) for mechanical components
- Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems and document control practices
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and drawing standards (AS, ISO)
- Experience with BOM creation and management within an ERP system
- Strong spatial reasoning and attention to detail in design work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to drawing quality and accuracy
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience or exposure to manufacturing, mining, conveyor systems, or bulk material handling equipment is advantageous but not essential.
