About The Role

As a Sales Specialist , you will play a strategic role in driving the growth of our fertilizer and herbicide business by leveraging deep market expertise and strong industry relationships. Acting as a trusted advisor to the specialist team, you will identify market opportunities, develop strategic account plans, and strengthen partnerships with key customers and suppliers across the plantation industry.

This role requires extensive knowledge of fertilizer products (Urea, NPK, Borate, Kaptan, etc.), market dynamics, pricing trends, and the competitive landscape. You will work closely with commercial teams to maximize revenue, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in the fertilizer and herbicide segments, with a focus on plantation customers and key accounts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to the specialist team by providing insights on market dynamics, pricing trends, competition, and supply conditions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and stakeholders across the plantation ecosystem.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through cross-selling and value-added solutions.
  • Analyze market conditions, customer performance, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Lead the preparation of commercial proposals, negotiations, and presentations to secure new business and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution and achievement of revenue and margin targets.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, benchmark best practices, and continuously strengthen expertise in fertilizer and agrochemical markets.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, procurement, purchasing, or commercial roles within the plantation industry.
  • Deep understanding of fertilizer and agrochemical products, including Urea, NPK, Borate, Kaptan, and herbicides , as well as global and local market dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of market competition, supply-demand conditions, pricing mechanisms, and market opportunities within the fertilizer industry.
  • Established network and strong relationships with major suppliers and plantation companies
  • Proven track record in managing strategic accounts and delivering commercial growth in plantation or agribusiness sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and act as a trusted business advisor.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and conduct site visits to plantations and customer locations.
