Job Summary: Sales Representative (Placement Specialist)

As a Placement Specialist, you are the engine of our sales funnel. Your goal is simple: Convert high-potential talent into successful international placements. You will manage a pipeline of Indonesian hospitality students, acting as a persuasive consultant who overcomes objections, builds urgency, and closes the deal. This role is ideal for a results-oriented professional who is motivated by achieving targets, and recognizes the impact that successfully placing a candidate can have on their career.


The Sales-Driven Requirements

  • Sales DNA: 1-3 years of experience in high-volume Sales, Recruitment, or Business Development with a proven "closer" track record.
  • The "Closer" Mentality: You are resilient, competitive, and motivated by exceeding monthly revenue and placement targets.
  • Market Expertise: A graduate of a top Indonesian hospitality program who can leverage their network to build immediate trust.
  • CRM Mastery: You live in HubSpot/Salesforce. You understand that if it isn't in the CRM, it didn't happen.
  • Bilingual Persuasion: Fluent English, with the ability to pitch to both a student and a C-level Hotel Director.


Your High-Impact Responsibilities

1. Pipeline Velocity & Lead Conversion

  • Lead Management: Rapidly qualify and convert inbound leads from Indonesian universities into active program applicants.
  • Consultative Closing: Use deep industry knowledge to overcome candidate objections regarding visas, costs, and relocation, moving them through the funnel with urgency.
  • Sale Ownership: Take full responsibility for the "Sale-to-Payment" cycle, ensuring all program fees are collected on time.


2. Strategic Growth & Market Penetration

  • Network Expansion: Proactively "hunt" for new talent by building relationships with career centers at Indonesian elite hospitality schools.
  • Pitch Mastery: Host high-energy webinars and on-campus recruitment events designed to generate "on-the-spot" sign-ups and applications.
  • Brand Authority: Position Placement International as the only premium choice for luxury placements programs in the Indonesian market.


3. Data Integrity & CRM Excellence

  • Funnel Hygiene: Maintain a pristine CRM database, ensuring every interaction is logged and every candidate is nurtured through automated and manual touchpoints.
  • Conversion Optimization: Analyze your own sales data to identify where candidates are dropping off and implement strategies to plug the "leaks" in your funnel.


4. Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analytics: Use CRM data to identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and implement immediate sales solutions.
  • Reporting: Deliver clear, performance-based reports to leadership regarding the Indonesian market’s growth and ROI.
