Responsibilities
You will assist Cybersecurity Team in:
- Documenting and responding to security incidents (e.g. documenting incident report, ticket summaries, security events/action logs)
- Monitor SOC tickets and coordinate with respective teams for the resolution
- Conduct basic scans (using Nmap, Nessus, or OpenVAS) and perform open-source intelligence gathering on threat actors/indicators or emerging vulnerabilities
- Preparing and participating in various cybersecurity awareness initiatives (e.g. cybersecurity training deployment)
Requirements
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or final-year students (no classes to attend) from Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT majors.
- Available to work fully onsite (Mon–Fri, 08.30–17.30) for a 6-month internship, starting ASAP.
- Familiar with security tools such as Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS, or similar tools; knowledge of Splunk, Wazuh, or other SIEM tools is a plus.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written), as the role involves coordination with foreign and English-speaking stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling simulations or real-time security alerts.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to collaborate effectively in a team.
