What You'll Do
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them accurately into written text
- Handle a variety of accents, speaking speeds, and audio quality levels
- Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and style guidelines
- Flag unclear segments and note speaker changes where relevant
- Meet quality and turnaround targets for each batch of work
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A strong, attentive listener who catches details others might miss
- Accurate and efficient typist with good written English
- Patient and methodical when working through challenging audio
- Comfortable following structured guidelines and quality standards
- Reliable and self-motivated — you take ownership of your work
- No prior transcription or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Previous transcription, captioning, or audio editing experience
- Familiarity with transcription tools or platforms
- Exposure to diverse accents, dialects, or multilingual audio
