Responsibilities

  • Analyze marketplace performance by monitoring supply, demand, and key operational metrics across multiple regions.
  • Identify demand patterns, supply gaps, peak hours, and operational bottlenecks to improve marketplace efficiency.
  • Develop forecasts for rider demand and driver supply using historical data and market trends.
  • Generate insights and recommendations to improve driver allocation, utilization, and service reliability.
  • Monitor marketplace health metrics such as fulfillment rate, acceptance rate, cancellation rate, idle time, and driver productivity.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports to support daily business decisions.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Product, Strategy, and Data teams to develop and execute marketplace optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate the impact of pricing strategies, incentive programs, and operational campaigns through data analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support business growth, strategic planning, and operational improvements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Marketplace Analytics, Business Analytics, Operations Analytics, Supply-Demand Planning, or a similar analytical role.
  • Experience in ride-hailing, logistics, e-commerce, on-demand services, or other marketplace businesses is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Experience working with large datasets and conducting statistical or trend analysis.
  • Familiarity with forecasting, supply-demand modeling, and marketplace performance metrics is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
