Launch Recruitment is partnering with a
large-scale, nationally significant organisation delivering critical infrastructure across Australia. They are currently looking to bring on
experienced Cloud Engineers (AWS & Azure) to support major platform initiatives.
You’ll play a key role in designing, building and optimising cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on
automation, scalability and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
- Build and manage environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform preferred)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Work across containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ensure cloud platforms are secure, reliable and performant
- Collaborate with engineering teams on large-scale initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS or Azure environments
- Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation)
- Experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity and security
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kubernetes / container platforms
- Exposure to enterprise-scale environments (telco, banking, government, etc.)
- Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.)
