Job Summary
As a Senior Data Analyst within Traveloka’s Insurance domain, you will play a pivotal role in the Data & Business Intelligence function by leveraging complex data analysis to support critical business operations. You will collaborate closely with the Data & Business Intelligence team to translate vast data assets into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions and strategic growth for the insurance business.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and integrate data from various insurance-related and cross-functional sources to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Apply advanced statistical and data mining techniques to identify key trends and patterns specific to insurance data
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize insurance business performance
- Collaborate with insurance domain stakeholders to understand their unique business needs and translate them into targeted data analysis projects
- Implement and uphold data quality and governance protocols to maintain reliable and secure insurance information assets
- Lead and mentor junior data and business intelligence team members to enhance their analytical skills and project delivery capabilities
- Provide strategic data-driven recommendations to insurance domain leadership to support operational improvements and growth initiatives
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in a business intelligence role, with a focus on leading projects within the insurance domain
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for dashboard development and report generation
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis and data mining techniques applicable to complex insurance data sets
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively engage with insurance domain stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of data quality management and governance principles specific to insurance information
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide junior team members and drive project success
- Exceptional communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
