About The Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented
Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support our project team in preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimations for construction and interior fit-out projects. If you have strong analytical skills, can read technical drawings, and have experience producing precise cost calculations, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural, interior, and technical drawings
- Calculate quantities and estimate project costs accurately
- Review drawings and specifications to identify required materials and work scope
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and vendors to validate cost assumptions
- Update BOQs and cost estimates when design revisions occur
- Support budget planning and cost comparison for project procurement
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or similar role
- Experience preparing BOQs for construction and/or interior fit-out projects
- Able to read architectural, MEP, and shop drawings
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with AutoCAD, Planswift, Bluebeam, or similar quantity take-off software is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
