The company is a product development and furniture design bureau based in Denmark, and we're looking for a furniture designer based in Indonesia to join our team. The role is about generating furniture ideas and developing them into compelling products. You'll build your concepts in 3D, drawing on a solid understanding of construction and comfort so that every idea is genuinely feasible to produce. From there, you'll use AI tools to create high-resolution, captivating presentations that bring the designs to life and communicate them convincingly. We're after someone with a strong creative eye, real 3D skills, and the curiosity to push new tools as far as they'll go.
📍 Location: Fully remote (Indonesia), with the headquarters in Denmark
⏰ Work Mode: Work from anywhere
💼 Role: Furniture Designer
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop original furniture concepts that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Research trends in furniture design and material innovations.
- Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A creative, concept-driven furniture designer — strong on the front end of the process: ideation, form, materials, and expression.
- A sharp eye for trends and a strong sense of direction in contemporary furniture and interiors.
- High-level proficiency in relevant CAD/design tools (Rhino is an advantage, or Fusion 360 or Blender).
- Genuine understanding of furniture design specifically.
- International education and/or work experience, comfortable working to European aesthetics.
- Able to work remotely and collaborate across time zones with our team in Denmark.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- A portfolio that shows original concepts, a distinct design voice, and good visual/presentation skills.
- Quick execution in 3d modelling and visualization.
