- Support data migration, validation, cleaning, and standardization during the transition from Excel-based systems to a PostgreSQL database.
- Assist in reformatting and preparing data for integration into the TraceSYS platform.
- Perform data quality checks (QC) on datasets and mapping algorithms to improve data accuracy.
- Evaluate and standardize address, coordinate, and supply base mapping data.
- Support other data management and analytics activities related to the Traceability & NDPE Verification team.
Requirements
-Final-year student (no classes) or fresh graduate in GIS, Geomatics, Geodesy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related fields.
Hands-on experience with Python for data processing.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Experience with geospatial data processing (ArcGIS/QGIS/GeoPandas/Google Earth Engine or similar tools) is highly preferred.
Experience in data cleaning, validation, QC, and data migration is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data cleaning).
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets.
Available for a full-time onsite internship for 6 months.
