Build Sagara’s talent assessment and recruitment system into a structured, repeatable, and highly selective engine that ensures only strong, credible, and delivery-ready talent enters Sagara’s pipeline.

This role is expected to help position Sagara as a home for top technology developers in Indonesia by turning recruitment into a real quality filter—not just a sourcing function.

Role Purpose

The Tech Recruiter is responsible for protecting the quality of Sagara’s talent engine.

This role does not exist to fill roles as quickly as possible. It exists to make sure weak talent does not enter the machine, and that only strong technical, business-aware, and communication-ready talent moves forward into Sagara’s system.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve Sagara’s assessment-driven recruitment system to identify and qualify top technology talent in Indonesia.
  • Use HackerRank as a core technical assessment engine to evaluate coding strength, technical logic, and role readiness.
  • Use hackathons, TechVacancy platforms, and similar channels to identify strong technical talent and uncover high-potential candidates.
  • Apply TestGorilla, Sagara Certif, hackathons, and related filters to assess business mindset, communication potential, discipline, and practical readiness.
  • Coordinate and strengthen Sagara’s internal panel process for final evaluation of communication quality, character, and cultural fit.
  • Build a recruitment process that tests not only technical ability, but also business awareness, clarity, integrity, patience, and execution readiness.
  • Continuously improve how candidates are screened, scored, and categorized across technical quality, communication quality, and delivery suitability.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates across Sagara’s core delivery roles and target talent profiles.
  • Work closely with account, engineering, and leadership teams to align hiring standards with real client needs and delivery expectations.
  • Ensure recruitment data, scores, talent notes, and assessment outcomes are organized and reusable.
  • Continuously improve Sagara’s reputation as a serious place for top engineering talent by keeping the bar high and the process credible.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to recruit and assess technical talent for software development, engineering, or related digital roles.
  • Strong understanding of how to evaluate talent beyond CVs—especially through technical tests, structured assessments, and quality filters.
  • Must be highly proficient in HackerRank and willing to become deeply expert in using it as Sagara’s primary technical assessment platform.
  • Familiarity with hackathons, technical hiring platforms, online coding tests, and structured screening systems.
  • Strong understanding of how to assess both technical capability and practical delivery readiness.
  • Strong judgment in evaluating communication, business awareness, discipline, and character—not just coding skill.
  • Proven experience in tech recruitment, talent assessment, hiring operations, or similar roles. Fresh graduates with strong internship or project experience are welcome.
  • Familiarity with tools such as TestGorilla, assessment platforms, talent sourcing platforms, and recruitment workflows is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills in reviewing candidate performance, assessment outcomes, and talent quality signals.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across recruiter, engineering, account, and leadership teams.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple hiring pipelines and candidate evaluations at once.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willing to work full on-site in Jakarta.
