Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and views.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across insurance data sources.
Support data integration between core insurance systems, operational systems, and reporting platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
Collaborate with Data Analysts and Business Analysts to understand data requirements and business rules.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to data models, ETL processes, and data flows.
Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
Support SIT/UAT and production data validation activities.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Solid experience in ETL processing (SSIS or other ETL tools).
Strong knowledge of SQL (complex queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning).
Experience handling large datasets and data transformation.
Familiar with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
Experience in insurance, banking, or financial services industry is a strong advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
