Summary:

The Program/Portfolio Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in enabling transparency, informed decision‑making, and effective governance across large, multi‑workstream programs. This role is responsible for developing enterprise‑grade reporting, delivering meaningful insights, and ensuring alignment across business, technology, and strategic partners.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks tracking milestones, financials, risks, and dependencies.
  • Create dashboards and summaries that integrate delivery metrics and KPIs.
  • Convert complex program data into clear, executive-ready insights and forecasts.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and adherence to governance standards.

Program Governance Support

  • Support governance routines including steering committees, operational reviews, and risk forums.
  • Maintain templates, taxonomies, intake materials, and prioritization tools.
  • Promote consistent use of lifecycle standards and enterprise delivery frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business, product, engineering, and analytics teams to validate portfolio data.
  • Facilitate workstream alignment and ensure clear communication of risks and dependencies.
  • Provide concise updates and recommendations for senior leaders.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Track and manage portfolio risks and issues, including mitigation and remediation.
  • Identify cross-initiative dependencies and escalate items requiring leadership attention.
  • Present risks and issues in clear, data-driven formats.

Value Realization & Strategic Insights

  • Support assessment of program value, including efficiency gains and operational improvements.
  • Build projections and scenario analyses to inform strategic planning.
  • Contribute to enterprise reporting connecting delivery outcomes to long-term goals.

Tools & Reporting Enablement

  • Use reporting and analytics platforms to automate and scale reporting processes.
  • Partner with technology teams to enhance data pipelines, telemetry, and analytics capabilities.
  • Maintain metadata consistency and standardized reporting practices.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
  • Proven experience with program reporting, portfolio analytics, PMO reporting, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize insights for executive audiences.
  • Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools.
  • Experience with large, multi-team initiatives or transformation programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience with operational, digital, AI, or automation-focused transformations. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance, PMO methodologies, and portfolio frameworks. (preferred)
  • Background in analytics, process engineering, or continuous improvement. (preferred)
  • Ability to support prioritization and strategic decision-making with senior leaders. (preferred)
  • Experience building scalable, enterprise-level reporting frameworks. (preferred)
