BAU – Facility Coordinator
- Data Center Contract Management
- Vendor Management (Data Center Service Providers, Communications Cabling Contractors, and Other DCIM-Related Suppliers)
- Electrical Design Document Management for All Contracted Machine Rooms
- Structured Cabling System Design and Document Management for All Contracted Machine Rooms
- Data Center Cost Management (Monthly Invoice Processing/Report Creation)
- DC Facility-Related Work Change Management (HVAC, Electrical, and Communications)
- Capacity Management (Mainly Power and Air Conditioning Capacity Management in Collaboration with Outsourced Contractors)
- Physical Security and Access Management (Sole Management of MS4 Only, Mainly Reporting)
Project Lead / Site Planning - Site Planning Manager Only
- Lead and promote all Data Center-related projects across multiple roles and responsibilities
- Prepare Data Center project outlines for budgeting and stakeholder proposals
- Participate in the commissioning or equivalent process for Data Center expansion projects
- Negotiate contract renewals (new contracts)
- Interact with senior management Site planning & Data Center infrastructure construction strategy consultation and proposals
- Managing and updating Data Center facility design and operation standards
- Responding to various audits (with the participation of Risk Management/QA, etc.)
- Colo-site external customer management (Pre-Sales/Delivery MGMT of vendor works)
- Colo environment external client management (Pre-Sales/Vendor Work Delivery Management)

■ Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Native-level Japanese (and sufficient English reading and writing to translate documents for team use)
- Deep data center operations experience (19' racks and the surrounding environment, rather than IMAC/equipment failure response, etc.)
- Experience participating in at least one ICT infrastructure construction project. New construction, expansion/addition, or retirement are all acceptable. (e.g., building a new machine room, expansion, or relocation in a data center, expanding a machine room or network room in an office building, etc.)
- General/basic understanding of communications infrastructure or corporate networks
- In-structure cabling (design/construction) training experience preferred (Panduit/Siemon/Commscope, etc.)
- Any electrical certification preferred
[Desired Qualifications]
- CDFOM or similar data center facility operations certification
- RCDD or any other BICSI certification related to data center infrastructure preferred
- Any electrical certification preferred
- ITIL is not required, but immediate understanding and proficiency in using ITSM tools for change management is required
- Any in-structure cabling (design/construction) certification preferred (Panduit/Siemon/Commscope, etc.)
