the challenge
As a data engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that ensure reliable ETL processes from a wide range of data sources. You leverage AWS and Apache Spark to handle large-scale data processing efficiently.
Collaboration is key in your role. You work closely with fellow engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver clean and accessible datasets. You also contribute to the development and optimization of the central data platform, which serves as the backbone for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
In addition, you implement real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka, enabling immediate access to data for time-sensitive applications. You champion CI/CD practices to streamline ETL-pipelines and ensure smooth infrastructure deployment.
