Job Description

Analyze requirements to improve the Data Platform
Design, develop, and deliver reliable data warehouses
Collaborate with the Data Team to help them discover and use existing data assets
Coach and mentor fellow data engineers
Provide recommendations on data architecture across the organization.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong proficiency in GCP (BigQuery, Composer, Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, etc.)
Proficiency in Python programming with at least 4 years of professional experience
Familiarity with dbt for data modeling and transformation, with strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Experience working with data platforms that support discovery, observability, quality, and reliability
Experience with third-party behavior analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Appsflyer, CleverTap)
Experience working with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
Strong skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries and pipelines for performance and cost efficiency
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code is a plus
Ability to analyze and utilize data to provide insights for business decision-making
At least 1 year of experience with data quality tools/frameworks
Strong understanding of investment and business is a plus
Good teamwork and communication skills.
