The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving business targets, and expanding market opportunities within the assigned area. This role will lead and develop the sales team, build strong customer relationships, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and ensure effective execution of sales strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in the smartphone industry, and the ability to manage sales performance in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales growth and ensure team targets are consistently met
- Identify new business opportunities to drive sales achievement
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base
- Build strong relationships with customers and business partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Lead, coach, and monitor sales team performance
- Create a high-performance and competitive sales culture
- Prepare sales reports, analysis, and business updates
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma Degree from any related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Area Sales Manager
- Experience in smartphone/mobile phone industry is mandatory
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of sales strategy, market expansion, and P&L
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Able to work in fast-paced and target-driven environment
