Job Profile:-
We are looking for a highly motivated fresher or early-career professional to join our engineering team as an Intern - Software Engineer.
This role involves handling high-frequency technical issues, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely fixes in production systems.
Over time, the candidate will be trained to independently debug, optimize, and gradually transition into core development responsibilities.
Key Attributes you need to possess: -
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot production issues in real-time.
- Perform quick and accurate Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Fix minor to moderate code issues independently.
- Communicate complex issues clearly to the main development team when escalation is required.
- Coordinate with multiple Project Managers for issue tracking and resolution updates.
- Ensure timely release of fixes after validation.
- Maintain proper documentation of issues, RCA, and resolutions.
- Monitor logs, databases, and application performance metrics.
- Participate in deployment and hotfix releases when required.
- Continuously improve debugging speed and production stability.
Skills Required:
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of backend development (Node.js preferred based on your stack).
- Strong debugging and logical problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of databases (MongoDB / SQL / NoSQL).
- Familiarity with APIs and backend architecture.
- Basic understanding of logs, error tracking, and production monitoring.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Basic understanding of realtime communication using WebSockets.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and handling realtime data/events.
Soft Skills:
- Strong ownership mindset.
- Ability to handle pressure in high-frequency issue environments.
- Clear and structured communication.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking.
Qualifications:
- B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA or equivalent technical degree.
- 0–1 year of experience in software development or support.
- Freshers with a strong debugging mindset and internships are encouraged to apply.
