Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to identify and understand their specific lubrication challenges and requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on proper lubrication techniques, equipment maintenance, and best practices to optimize performance and prolong machinery lifespan.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules for customers' machinery and equipment, focusing on lubrication-related tasks to minimize downtime and repair costs.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify potential customers and opportunities for expanding lubrication services, and participate in client presentations as needed.
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop and implement effective lubrication strategies tailored to each customer's needs.
- Provide technical support and assistance to field technicians and service personnel, troubleshooting complex lubrication issues and offering guidance on proper maintenance procedures.
- Provide on-site support to apply lubricants to machinery and equipment, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of machinery to identify lubrication issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving lubrication-related problems, such as excessive wear or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain detailed records of lubricant usage, equipment maintenance, and service reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new lubrication technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or lubrication technology is a advantage.
- Previous experience in a technical or hands-on role, preferably in lubrication, automotive, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze lubrication issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
