We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales and business development in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, lead a sales team, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding the company´s market presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
o Performs Sales activities for new and renewal business for an assigned geographic area, set of accounts or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. Accountable for the sales accounts for the specified geography.
o Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization´s products and services
o Creates and conducts sales presentations to match the company´s products/services with identified needs.
o Provide accurate forecast for the new sales and renewal revenues to management.
o Collaborate closely with principal Ansys to deliver double-digit growth in new business and acquire new logo´s minimum of 5 -7 per quarter.
o Meet new business, renewal and services goals for the assigned territory / strategy account.
o Develop, maintain, and implement account plans that contain strategies and action plans for maximizing account revenues
Education:
Bachelor´s or master´s degree in
engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum 7 years of experience in
software sales to corporate, Enterprise, small and medium private companies, defense & Government.
o Proven ability to drive revenue growth through industry association
partnership and C Level connect.
Technical & Business Skills:
o Deep understanding of Ansys software, FEM, and CAE applications.
o Knowledge of research funding mechanisms and grant opportunities.
o Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Other requirements:
o Willingness to travel within Malaysia and
occasionally across Southeast Asia.
o Fluency in English.
