Tool Maker (Metal Stamping)

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for design, fabrication, service, repair and maintenance of production tooling requirements.  
2. Tool Design and Fabrication.  

• Understanding drawings and tool requirements and translate them into tool desing using  dvances techniques.  
• Planning, supervise and monitor the tool fabrication process.  
• Troubleshooting and solving of tooling problem.  

1. Machining  

• Assist tooling supervisor arrange and distribute machining work to machinist and apprentice 

1. Maintenance and Repair  

• Provide service and repair for tooling  
• Carry out tooling maintenance  

1. Manpower Management  

• Maximise manpower utilisation to meet quality and productivity objective  

1. Training  

• Provide training to machinist and any staff whenever required on knowledge of tooling  

1. Records, Paperworks and System  

• Assist tooling supervisor and engineer in setting up documentation and recording 

1. Ensure good housekeeping of work area  
2. Accomplish task assigned by superior.  

Requirements:

• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably specialized in tooling or equivalent.
• Self-motivated, assertive and results driven with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Possess strong analytical / logic and problem-solving skill
