What you will do:
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact within the finance function of a leading global FMCG company. You will not be on the sidelines; you will be a key contributor to several critical, high-priority projects. Your responsibilities will include:
· Tax Compliance & Reporting: Supporting the end-to-end preparation of monthly Withholding Tax (WHT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) filings to ensure regional regulatory alignment.
· General Ledger Integrity: Performing monthly GL Reconciliations, identifying variances, and ensuring the accuracy of tax-related accounts.
· E-Invoicing Implementation: Executing E-invoicing reconciliations to bridge digital transaction data with accounting records, ensuring seamless integration and data integrity.
· Financial Cycle Support: Contributing to the Monthly Finance Closing process by preparing journal entries and verifying tax accruals under tight deadlines.
· Statutory Reporting: Assisting in the drafting and compilation of Financial Statements, ensuring all disclosures meet reporting standards.
· Annual Tax Compliance: Supporting the preparation of the Annual Corporate Tax Return, including data gathering for Book-to-Tax adjustments and permanent/temporary differences.
Are you the one we’re looking for?
Key Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. We are specifically looking for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
- Strong academic performance with a minimum CGPA of 3.2.
- A meticulous, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficient in using Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
- Available for a minimum internship duration of [e.g., 3-6 months].
