Job Description:
• Carry out building survey works especially on Building Structural, architectural, M&E inspections on the conditions and defect.
• Assist and monitor to ensure smooth operation of site activities and carrying out in accordance to the schedule and specification required.
• Ensure proper planning of site works, setting out optimal usage of materials, equipment, machineries and manpower.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and site personnel.
• Attend project and site meeting and monitoring site progress and datelines.
• Meeting with clients and contractors to oversee progress.
• Producing detailed defect investigation reports and recommendations.
• Identifying defects and advising on remedial works.
• Offering advice on proposed alterations, improvements and extensions.
• Advising on environmental and safety issues.
• Site as-built checking in relation to building control issues.
• Preparing budgets, monitoring and cost control.
• Working on-site and in an office.
• Able to travel to any directed location to perform any project work related when need arises.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Building Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, M&E Services, Interior Design, Building Technology, or related fields, and/or be registered with RISM, RICS, or other relevant professional bodies.
- Have good knowledge and experience in general construction works, defect management and building pathology.
- Preferably experience with at least 2 years working experience specialized in building maintenance or engineering construction industry.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Offices, AutoCAD and relevant software
- Responsible, committed, and able to work independently with good communication and organizational skills, proficient in Bahasa Melayu & English.
- Must possess driving D license.
