Antara Steel Mills Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiaries of The Lion Group Companies, brought on-stream the most advanced Direct Reduction Iron plant in the world located on Labuan Island, Malaysia. The technology used is the MIDREX Direct Reduction process which incorporates a Hot Briquetting unit for the production of highly metallized, low residual Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI).
