Pros: It's a really solid place if you're just starting in the cocoa processing industry. You get decent hands-on experience, especially as a Production Supervisor here in the Pasir Gudang plant. The job security is good, which is a plus.
Cons: Career growth can be pretty tough, honestly. There aren't many clear paths for advancement, even for experienced manufacturing roles. It often feels like you hit a ceiling after a couple of years, and internal promotions are rare.
Advice to Management: Create more transparent career development programs and opportunities for internal promotions to retain talent. A clear path for growth in manufacturing roles would help a lot.

Pros: I've learned a lot about cocoa processing and food manufacturing standards here. The job security is solid for a big company, and you get decent benefits. Team members in my QC department are usually pretty supportive.
Cons: The company culture is really hierarchical. Getting anything new approved or changing processes, even for quality control, takes forever. Innovation isn't really encouraged, which can be frustrating if you like to try new things. It's very much an onsite environment, so don't expect remote options.
Advice to Management: Try to empower middle management more and encourage bottom-up innovation. Speed up decision-making for process improvements, especially in the manufacturing lines. It would help retain talent in our industry.
