Okay work-life for onsite manufacturing role
Working at JB Cocoa means an okay, but sometimes challenging, work-life balance. As a Quality Control Executive, I've seen some intense periods that really test your limits, especially during peak production cycles in our cocoa processing plant.
The team in the Johor Bahru office is pretty solid, and we usually get decent breaks. For an onsite role in cocoa processing, it's not the worst, and you'll definitely learn a lot about the industry.
Sometimes weekend work is needed, especially during peak season. It's tough to plan things when your schedule can change suddenly, which makes maintaining work-life balance a struggle. There isn't much flexibility for remote work.
Try to forecast staffing needs better to avoid last-minute overtime demands on staff. Recognize employees who consistently put in extra hours, maybe with some compensatory time off.
