Since its inception in 1973, S.E.H. Malaysia has been supplying high quality silicon wafers for the exhilarating demand of the semiconductor industry.

With a processing plant capable of producing high quality polished silicon wafers, S.E.H. Malaysia located at the Ulu Klang Free Trade Zone, Selangor has emerged as the largest single wafer processing plant in terms of capacity in the world.

In order to meet the growing demand of the semiconductor market, S.E.H. Malaysia in 1994 has invested in an 8-inch diameter wafer production facility in Shah Alam, Selangor, about 25km south-west of Kuala Lumpur.

With this production facility in Shah Alam, S.E.H. Malaysia Group will maintain its position as the largest silicon wafer production facility within the Shin-Etsu Handotai Group and undisputedly in the world.
