We are proud to built ourselves as the birth place of Hokkien mee in Kuala Lumpur. A humble beginning with the notion to transpire tradition Hokkien mee cooking, Kim Lian Kee (in short as KLK) is established in 1927 by current owner, Mr Lee Heng Chuan’s uncle, the late Mr Ong Kim Lian. Till to-date, together with the support of Mr Lee’s second son, Henry Lee Shyan Perng who is actively expanding the family Hokkien mee brand name locally and abroad, KLK’s first outlet under the stewardship of Tan Sri Datuk Francis Yeoh of YTL Group enters Lot 10’s premium food court, namely “Hutong No.10”, which also lead to the birth of KLK first overseas venture in Guangzhou China. Since then, with the expansion of continuation of business expansion with the same cooking method of charcoal fried of Hokkien noodles and other sumptuous side dishes has also expanded KLK into Viva Home at Cheras, Jusco Aeon Mall at Cheras Selatan, Sunway Pyramid, The Gardens Mall at Mid Valley City, Lot 10 Hutong, The Shore Malacca, Sunway Velocity and opening soon at Sunway Putra Mall and Selayang Star City by 4th quarter of 2017. Henry Lee and his father’s passion to continuing in nurturing the family run business motto and originality way of cooking still stand, but intention to spread the joy of deliciously fried Hokkien noodle remain the same since its’ inception.
