Company Overview

ELKOM Was established, primarily for the manufacture of corrugated finwall which, being an integral part of the transformer tank, is the essence of heat dissipation for oil cooled transformers. Way back in 1996, Mr. Simon Yee, the founding proprietor, led a small team of engineers and technical craftsmen, developed and custom-built the required machinery in-house, the cost-effectiveness of which justified the project's viability. Since then, with advancements in its machinery and commitment of its workforce, ELKOM finwalls has come of age to become a global brand. In 2007, ELKOM embarked on tank fabrication, in response to the trend of transformer manufacturers out-sourcing this department. Yet again, the acceptance from customers the world over is proudly resounding. Incrementally but surely, ELKOM is continually widening its coverage as a supportive department to the transformer manufacturing arena. Accelerated by infusion of proven engineers and technical experts in transformer and transformer accessories into the ELKOM Family, the company has expanded the product range to include porcelain bushings, off-circuit tap-changers, epoxy bushings and epoxy monoblocks. Today, propelled by a dedicated team, ELKOM is home for high quality products in accordance to international norms. Having stamped its footprints on every continent, the ELKOM brand is recognized the world over.
