FOTOKEM was first formed as a partnership in 1978 known as FOTOKEM THE CAMERA SHOP, being its first retail outlet in Sungei Wang Plaza primarily retailing photographic equipment. In 1981, FOTOKEM THE CAMERA SHOP changed to a private limited company known as FOTOKEM SDN BHD. From retailing of photographic equipments, subsequently ventured into other products, on-site photo printing, making of photobook, organizing events, digital lifestyle products, gadgets and on-line business.
