The role:
As the Team Lead / Assistant Team Lead, you will be responsible for driving the top-line growth of our business in Malaysia; ranging from building up and mentoring key account managers, liaising closely and building ambition plans with top brand/seller partners, developing processes to ensure ecommerce success for brand and seller partners, conducting regular analysis to understand the impact of category/brand decisions in performance and implementing regional/local initiatives to drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all brand and store KPIs are met on time.
- Analyze sales performance and advise clients on how to grow their ecommerce sales in a sustainable way. Drive sales through stock availability, pricing competitiveness, innovative promotional schemes, effective merchandising and targeted assortment growth.
- Grow revenue and profitability for Intrepid by partnering with Business Development on offering new value adding services to clients, optimizing commercial terms with existing clients and scaling existing operational processes.
- Maintain close relationships with both brands and ecommerce platforms. Interact daily with partners to ensure timely and effective implementation of strategy.
- Coach and develop your team members.
- Developing cross-functional strategy to grow sellers' business and ensure smooth operations;
- Managing pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key products offered by the sellers.
Who we look for - the ideal profile:
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 6-8 years working experience in ecommerce, either working with ecommerce platforms (in category management or brand partnership management), or heading ecommerce in a leading brand, or a senior commercial role in an ecommerce enabler / distributor
- Experience with retail business will be an added advantage
- Collaborative, humble, driven, analytical, structured, integrity, professional, fun, passionate, builder, entrepreneurial
- Strong track record of high-level negotiations with partners and successful internal/external relationship management
- Management: proven ability to manage a team. Ability to build team up, build processes, drive results and foster positive culture
- Solid Excel / Powerpoint skills
