CSPM Sdn Bhd is a leading specialist in critical power and cooling infrastructure, representing world-class principals across UPS systems, precision cooling, power distribution, and data centre solutions. We are expanding our technical sales team and seeking an experienced Solution Engineer to support our sales force in winning and delivering complex projects.
The Role
As a Solution Engineer, you will be the technical backbone of our sales team — translating customer requirements into winning solutions. Working closely with our salespeople, you will:
- Prepare technical and commercial responses for tenders and RFQs
- Develop costings, BOQs, and pricing proposals
- Produce system designs, single-line diagrams, and equipment sizing (UPS, cooling, power distribution)
- Interpret and complete technical specifications and compliance schedules
- Recommend the right products from our principal range to match project requirements
- Support sales presentations and technical clarifications with clients and consultants
- Liaise with principals on product selection, lead times, and technical queries
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' working experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or solution/applications engineering role — ideally in power systems, UPS, cooling, or data centre infrastructure
- Solid grasp of technical documentation, specifications, costing, and tender preparation
- Strong attention to detail and able to work to tender deadlines
- Good command of English; able to communicate confidently with consultants and end-users
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AutoCAD an advantage
- A team player who enjoys supporting a sales team to close deals
