Responsibilities:

  1. Source and evaluate suppliers for printing materials such as paper, ink, chemicals, and packaging materials
  2. Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate for the best terms and cost savings
  3. Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of goods
  4. Liaise closely with suppliers (especially China) in Mandarin for order coordination and issue resolution
  5. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Production and Warehouse to ensure sufficient material supply
  6. Track and control purchasing costs, ensuring alignment with budget
  7. Maintain accurate procurement records including quotations, invoices, and delivery orders
  8. Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Sales, Finance) for purchasing needs
  9. Arrange logistics and follow up on shipment/delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 1–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in printing or manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with overseas suppliers
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes and inventory control
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure
  • Skilled in negotiations and networking.
