We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, performing, and delivering projects in line with our company’s standards and goals.
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for overseeing the entire project site, managing, and leading the projects to ensure the smooth implementation of daily site activities.
- Organize, direct and/or coordinate with the entire project team, both internal and external, on relevant projects.
- Liaise and negotiate requirements, issues between client, consultant, sub-contractor, and supplier involved.
- To inspect and monitor construction works in accordance with approved specifications and drawings.
- Identify, analyse, evaluate, and decide on solutions to all technical and site issues.
- Conduct site inspection on a regular basis to review progress, ensure a timely completion of the project, while avoiding unnecessary penalties.
- Working within budget by adequately estimating the costs, cutting unnecessary expenses and minimize material wastage.
- To report project progress to top management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 8-10 years of working experience in construction related field.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, verbal and written communication skills.
- Well verse in understanding Architectural, M&E and C&S drawings.
- Preferably candidates with computer literacy, especially in MS Office & MS Project.
- Strong leadership and ability to lead site project team.
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels in the organization.
- Able to work independently and on a team.
- Good problem-solving skill.
- Able to work under pressure, long hours and delivered within committed deadlines.
- Willing to travel due to project needs.
