Senior Data Engineer / BI Analytics Engineer to join a high-impact project. If you're based in

Senior Data Engineer / BI Analytics Engineer
Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout and adoption of ThoughtSpot across business domains
- Gather and document business requirements for analytics and reporting use cases
- Translate business needs into curated datasets, semantic models and analytics solutions
- Map business requirements to available Data Lake / Lakehouse datasets
- Support ingestion and publication of Gold and Presentation Layer data into ThoughtSpot AI Catalog
- Design and maintain semantic models, reusable metrics and business definitions
- Build dashboards, Liveboards, charts and AI-ready analytics experiences
- Drive business adoption through demos, enablement sessions and stakeholder engagement
- Collect user feedback and continuously improve dashboards and use cases
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, IT teams and business stakeholders
- Support AI initiatives involving Databricks, ThoughtSpot and advanced analytics
Skills
- +5 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI or Analytics Engineering
- Strong SQL skills (mandatory)
- Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures (preferably Databricks)
- Strong data modeling and semantic layer design experience
- Hands-on experience with BI tools and dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Experience with Python and/or PySpark
- Experience with ThoughtSpot (preferred)
- Experience with Databricks (preferred)
- Understanding of GenBI and natural-language analytics concepts (preferred)
- Experience with energy, utilities, solar, finance or asset management data (preferred)
- Ability to translate business requirements into impactful analytics solutions
- Strong communication skills with business and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience preparing demos, documentation and enablement materials
- Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
