Key Responsibilities
AI & Data Science
- Develop predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, customer segmentation, and sales prediction
- Build recommendation engines and personalization solutions for e-commerce and loyalty platforms
- Design AI solutions for pricing optimization, promotion effectiveness, and basket analysis
- Apply machine learning and analytics to improve supply chain efficiency and store operations
- Analyze customer behavior using transactional, digital, and omnichannel datasets
- Develop NLP or Generative AI solutions for customer service, retail chatbots, and product search
- Monitor model performance and continuously optimize AI solutions
Business & Consulting
- Collaborate with retail clients to identify business challenges and AI/data opportunities
- Translate retail use cases into scalable AI, analytics, and automation solutions
- Conduct workshops, assessments, and discovery sessions with stakeholders
- Provide strategic recommendations on retail AI adoption and digital transformation
- Support project planning, stakeholder management, and client presentations
Technology & Delivery
- Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams to deploy AI models into production
- Support MLOps, automation, and scalable AI architecture implementation
- Document technical designs, methodologies, and project deliverables
- Stay updated on emerging AI and retail technology trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in AI, machine learning, analytics, or data science
- Experience working in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or consumer-focused industries
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and data analytics tools
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Knowledge of retail analytics and business KPIs
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
