About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Senior/Staff Front-End Developer to join our client’s dynamic team remotely, preferably based in the US or Europe. This role involves leading the development of a new, high-performance web-based trading terminal designed to replicate the platform's robust trading capabilities on the web. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex trading functionalities into a seamless, fast, and user-centric web application. Collaborating closely with the back-end team, the developer will ensure real-time data integration, optimal performance, and a superior user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence one of the most utilized trading tools in the market, contributing to cutting-edge innovations in crypto trading technology.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong focus on React/NextJS and TypeScript
- Proven experience building frontend components for trading platforms or exchanges
- Previous experience as a key decision-maker within a front-end team, contributing to critical platform components
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks and projects
- Expertise in creating fast, dynamic, and optimized web interfaces
- Comfort with real-time data handling and WebSocket management
- Strong problem-solving skills with innovative thinking capabilities
- Genuine interest and understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and trading trends
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a responsive, user-centric web application utilizing React/NextJS and TypeScript
- Implement best practices and optimizations to ensure the application is fast and responsive, especially on mobile devices
- Support the integration and management of real-time data streams using WebSockets to enhance trading functionalities
- Collaborate closely with senior full-stack developers to ensure seamless front-end and back-end integration
- Address complex technical challenges with innovative and effective solutions to improve user experience
- Maintain high standards of code quality through clean, maintainable, and well-documented code practices
- Contribute to technical decision-making, including technology stack and design choices for the platform
