ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER
Jobs Descriptions
Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations
Handle monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activitiesin timely and accurate manner
Prepare management reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts for management review
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirement
Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, banker, company secretary and regulatory authorities
Manage SST/GST, corporate tax submissions and statutory filling
Monitor cash flow and treasury functions to ensure sufficient working capital
Review and improve accounting processes, financial controls and operational efficiencies
Supervise and guide junior finance staff when required
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents
Participate in finance related projects and system implementation initiatives
Handle ad hoc assignments, special project and other finance related duties as assigned by management from time to time
Qualifications
Degree in Accountancy, Finance and/ or ACCA/CPA qualified.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance or accounting
Certified MIA member and familiar with operation/manufacturing accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and financial reporting
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft excel
Good analytical, problem solving and communication skill
Able to work independently and met tight deadline
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
