  • Handle daily reservations and ticketing inquiries using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
  • Ensure timely issuance of tickets and flight reservations to meet client demands.
  • Assist with visa requirements, car rentals, accommodations, and other related travel services.
  • Ensure accuracy in travel bookings, including departure and arrival dates, passenger information, and special requests.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients, providing timely and accurate assistance.
  • Address and resolve ticketing issues, including flight cancellations, delays, and schedule changes.
  • Work on a shift rotation basis, including after working hours, to handle emergency ticketing matters.
  • Promote special fare offers and travel packages to clients and identify upselling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in the tourism industry or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Ticketing Consultant at a travel agency (at least 3 years).
  • Excellent knowledge of Sabre GDS, with knowledge of Amadeus and Galileo as an advantage.
  • Ability to book flights, issue, reissue, and refund tickets.
  • Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, fare rules, and reservation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work independently and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about the travel, tourism, and hospitality industry.
