Solution Architect to sit within their Domestic Retail & Digital technology team, reporting to the Domain Architect. The role focuses on defining and delivering business-aligned technical solutions across assigned initiatives — from solution options and recommendations all the way through to delivery oversight. This is a Digital Channels-focused Solution Architect role. The client has been very clear on this point:
- Experience designing solutions for web and/or mobile applications
- Digital channels solution architecture — customer-facing platforms, digital journeys, online/app experiences
- API-led integration for digital products (REST, API gateways, identity/auth)
- Cloud architecture in a digital product context (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework experience
- Large-scale enterprise delivery with strong stakeholder management (top-to-bottom)
- Agile ways of working
- Health, insurance, banking or similarly regulated industry background preferred
