We’re looking for an experienced senior Java Backend Engineer to support and develop technical solution within the payments domain!
The role focuses on designing and developing core microservices modules for payment systems that are stable, secure, and continuously improved to support users’ needs and meet regulatory standards.
What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, maintain and optimize microservice modules for core payment/wallet systems, to ensure stability and security.
- Participate in technical reviews and drive code quality and engineering standards.
- Collaborate cross functionally across the product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Contribute to performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident response.
We’re looking for:
- Proven in-depth experience programming with Java and it’s frameworks (Core Java, Spring Boot, MyBatis, etc)
- Experienced with MySQL/PostgreSQL, proficient with SQL optimization
- Proven practical experience with microservices architecture, system designing, and distributed systems
- Strong engineering mindset
- Mandarin Language proficiency is preferred due to collaboration with Chinese businesses
Plus points:
- Experience with Kotlin for backend development
- Experience with AI/LLM applications
- Prior experience in finance (payment/wallet)
- Web3 development experience (cryptocurrency/blockchain)
- Containerization deployments (Docker/ Kubernetes)
- Frontend technologies knowledge (React/Flutter)
