About Our Client
This role manages secure R&D lab networks used by engineering teams around the world. You'll be responsible for keeping the network running smoothly, supporting engineers, managing access and security, and maintaining Linux-based systems in a highly controlled environment that is separated from the internet (air-gapped).
Job Description
- Support day-to-day operations of secure R&D lab networks globally
- Manage SONiC-based network switches and Linux systems
- Configure VLANs, IP addresses, routing, and network access
- Administer Zscaler and CyberArk for secure access control
- Perform secure file transfers across isolated environments
- Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues for engineers
- Maintain virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix)
- Monitor infrastructure health, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Handle support tickets and meet SLA requirements
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation
The Successful Applicant
A Successful IT Infrastructure Technical Lead Should Have
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field
- 4+ years in Network Administration or System Administration
- Strong Linux Administration (Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Networking knowledge (VLAN, Routing, ACL, TCP/IP, Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Zscaler ZTNA / App Connector experience
- CyberArk or PAM (Privileged Access Management) experience
- VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, or Hyper-V experience
- SFTP, SCP, rsync knowledge
- SNMP monitoring tools (SolarWinds or similar)
